Time management books are a dime a dozen. What I liked about this one is that it was a crash course in different methodologies. I basically scanned through the chapters and looked at all the "Action Steps" then chose a few that aligned with my workflow.Personally, I like Neil Fiore's philosophy. Setting time aside for play might seem ridiculous at first, but it actually works. If I don't set time for myself, I'll just work until it's 4 in the morning without even thinking twice. By "scheduling" my play time, I'm much more likely to do it. The bonus is that once I enjoy my break I'm instantly attracted back to my work... and that's his philosophy. I'm also going to pick up a copy of his book "The Now Habit" to get a little more detail.

Found the summary steps to take in trying out each strategy valuable. There are 3 strategies in the book that I especially connected with. Great summaries to get me jump-started.
OK for a quick read..
I own my own business and it is very important to use my time correctly or else the day flies by. After checking out this book, i understand which part of my day is being wasted, and use it more productive. Now I have time for my family. Highly Recommended!
Informative, yet a bit repetitive. Seemed to me the author didn't proof read some of his chapters, else he would have seen the exact wording repeated throughout each person's article in his book! This made his book tedious & as swiftly as I began reading it, I became annoyed by the repeating verbiage that I stopped reading it altogether! Such a shame! I was really learning a lot about the topic.
Great summary of 10 time management books, with a short background on each author, their work, the method, what supporters and critics say, Cole Hudson thoughts about each book and an action summary to be able to apply the method. Very short and concise. Cole says ''I've taken ten of the best time-management professionals out there and broken down their methods piece by piece for you to see'' and this is what he has done. But, they might be the best time-management professional and (to my opinion) since there are so many time-management books out there, there are probably some books that are better. I which Cole Hudson would write a second one and so another 10 books summary.
Do you need to manage your time better? If you are like me and most other people then your answer is yes. This book gives an overview of the most popular time management styles. The different time management gurus are analyzed and their strategies are presented in a simple way. This allows the reader to get a grasp on the particular guru's theory and determine which theory will work best for you. The chapters are organized the same so you know what to expect in each chapter. The research is clear and plainly stated. This is a well written book. If you want to learn more about a particular time management style the author has placed links in the book to the guru's most popular work. I recommend this book.
